Maestro Mario Torres Davila

He began his training at just 8 years old. Under the guidance of his family carrying forward the lineage of their ancestors and the wisdom of ancient shamanic traditions. Now, with over 50 years of experience, Don Mario’s knowledge runs deep. He was given the title of Maestro at just the age of 16 years old, a reflection of his extraordinary path and dedication. His wisdom is vast, his character humble, and the presence he carries is felt by all who cross his path. Don Mario is the heart and soul of the shamanic work that takes place here. With a gentle spirit and a radiant smile, his presence brings warmth and joy to the space.

Mimi

Mimi’s role in this work is rooted in her years of experience and training. She carries the practical understanding that comes from her background in nursing and the depth of experience gained through traditional apprenticeship in the Amazon. She has supported many Ayahuasca ceremonies and retreats, which gives her a clear grasp of the psychological, emotional and physical challenges that participants may face.

Her experience is strengthened by her life in the jungle. She speaks fluent Spanish and local slang and moves naturally within the cultural environment where this work takes place. She bridges the two worlds because she knows both from lived experience, helping retreat participants understand and navigate their process.

In ceremony she and Maestro Mario hold the space together. Their presence creates a natural synergy shaped by the difference between male and female energy. His icaros bring structure and direction, while hers offer softness and warmth. Together they meet in harmony, each completing the other and creating a balanced field that supports the healing as it unfolds.
